Hi, I’m William Hannum (Taylor is my middle name), professional handyman and owner of Taylor Home Services. I provide quality service to busy home-owners in need of repairs and improvements. I moved to Philadelphia from Massachusetts in June of 2019. During my time in MA I spent many years learning from and working for my father on carpentry projects, specialty repairs and home improvement. In the five years before I moved I was employed as a carpenter and fabricator by the architect Michael Singer.

Upon arriving in Philadelphia I began taking on independent carpentry jobs for homeowners mostly though word of mouth. I thought I would do this work while figuring out the right job to apply for, but I quickly realized how much I loved working with new customers, and taking pride in my own work. So I took the next step. I got all the proper licenses and insurance and started my own business! It was something I never expected, and now I’m more excited than ever about my profession.

When choosing a handyman or carpenter the most important thing is hiring someone you can trust. Someone that cares about your home as much as you do.
